Dimpy Ganguly dumps Rahul Mahajan
Their marriage was celebrated as a national affair, with millions of TV viewers following every development closely as if it was a marriage at home. As now, after being together for not more than five months, Rahul Mahajan and wife Dimpy Ganguly are parting ways following Rahul’s alleged love for actress Payal Rohatgi.
The reports say that Dimpy left Rahul’s home when the latter abused and thrashed her, as now, she has decided not to return to Rahul’s home for ever.
Actress Payal Rohatgi had recently accused Rahul for calling her on odd-hours and texting messages to unite again. She clearly stated that she has no interest of getting back to Rahul now.
“The beatings had started a month after their much-publicized wedding on national TV but in the last one month it has increased,” a source informed. Another report added that during one of these fights, Rahul pointed a gun at Dimpy.
Ironically, this is the second time that the son of former Bhartiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan is accused for domestic violence, as his former wife – Shweta Singh filed for divorce on grounds of domestic violence and incompatibility.
Well, down goes another oh-so-sensational television staged marriage, as this development will surely ask the organizers of the ‘Swayamwar’ show to put their minds together for not just making a succesfull show, but also for the lives of the individuals who take part in it.
