Who will play Kaalicharan and Kabeer?
It’s true, every script has its destiny and so do the actors. Now I am set with three main actors for Kal Kissne Dekha - Rishi Kapoor, Jackky Bhagnani and Vaishali Desai. Now we have the task of selecting actors for the role of Kabeer and Kaalicharan, the other two important characters and also the mother of Nihal Singh (Jackky) and father of Meesha Kapoor (Vaishali)…
Hmmm…. We sat down with the list of actors. Meetings and meetings, and meetings… I wanted Govindaji to play Kaalicharan. I met him during IIFA awards and he had agreed to do this role also, but somehow it didn’t happen.
Koi Nahi…, for Kabeer, I wanted a tough, young guy who looked like a hero. He should be of Jackky’s age but tougher than him. And I found Akshay Kapoor. An extremely talented guy, great human being with great cinematic presence…
Akshay Kapoor was in two minds about this role. I promised him that he will be treated as family and he agreed for this special appearance – Kabeer...
