Director's Diary By Vivek Sharma - Part 9
Our last few days in Wits University… awwwww… we are feeling sad…
We all bonded like a family… never treated anybody like a junior artiste but like a family…
So many photos were clicked… so many gifts we received… really sweet of South Africa… We still miss you all…
We were shooting our main scene with Rishi ji and Jacky… dramatic scene…
Kal Kissne Dekha is a difficult first film for Jacky as he has to perform all shades, and that too in front of an actor like Rishi Kapoor…
I don’t believe in rehearsed performances, so does Rishi ji…
Jacky was nervous that day and got stuck with one shot.
Rishi ji gave him so much of courage and moral support I can’t tell you.
Jacky said sorry to Rishi ji for making him wait for so long and Rishi ji replied,
“don’t worry… just do it with your conviction... you are doing fine…” I was really touched... Today’s generation should learn from them…
Patience… professionalism and dedication… Key to success…
I took some of Jacky’s close-ups the next day and we wrapped up from Wits University in 19 days.
Schedule was for 21 days… we were doing better then what we thought…
