The much-awaited Arya-Trisha starrer Sarvvam has finally hit the screen. The first half of the movie is evolved around breezy romance between Karthik(Arya), a young and successful architect who finds Sandhya (Trisha) his love. Sandhya is not only beautiful, but also professionally challenging as a paediatrician practicing in a leading hospital. Karthik's love for Sandhya make him visit the hospital number of times, with their relationship destined to bloom.
The love story takes a tragic turn and he has a task at hand - to find 10-year-old Iman (Rohan) - to keep his flame alive. In his trail he realizes that the boy is encountering danger. How Karthik (Arya) saves the boy's life to bring back his happiness and why he does that forms the crux of the story.
The movie is on two different stories and how it gets connected, is what the director has attempted. Strangely this double impact concept does not really work in 'Sarvvam'. The director has missed to give the same impact to thrill and as he has given for romance. The second half is chase and has no great impact projected. The relation between the boy and Karthik (Arya) is very weak, which has to be intended as the movie goes by. The climax scene is very lengthy and leaves no impact, for it's neither racy nor interesting.
Director Vishnuvardhan has taken effort and has put a technically good team together but has not concentrated on a tight project, the story is fraying in many parts. Trisha and Arya share a great onscreen chemistry even when the characteristions lack lustre. JD Chakravarthy has done justice to his character and Indrajit makes a clean debut in Kollywood.
Music is scored by Yuvan Shanakar Raja who has done a neat job which is not lost, thanks to Nirav Shah for best handling of camera Most of the shots picturised in Munnar, scenes in the dark and especially the climax chase scene has to be given its due credits. A real treat to eyes for the audience.
'Sarvvam' overall is a treat to the eyes with great camera work, first half more enjoyable, but the second half seems dull and distant.
