The Idea IIFA Awards in Macau dished out another hilarious performance by hosts Boman Irani, Riteish Deshmukh and Lara Dutta. Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh hosted the Idea IIFA Awards 2008 in Bangkok and overwhelmed the audience with their entertaining antics.
This year, they were back with a bang for the 10th Idea IIFA awards along with the eloquent Lara Dutta joining them.
The hilarious trio kept the audience thoroughly entertained, each adding a unique dimension to the night. Boman Irani organized an impromptu Antakshari with the stars that saw Shabana Azmi render 'Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan', while Hrithik Roshan belted out 'Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan' and had Amitabh Bachchan conclude with his legendary dialogue from Kabhi Kabhie.
Boman and Riteish had the audience in splits with the biggest hit of the year, Slumdog Millionaire, creating their own version of ‘Who wants to be a Slumdog?’ With Boman Irani playing Anil Kapoor's quiz master role and Ritesh Deshmukh pretending to be Aamir Khan from Ghajini, Boman would ask questions in Anil Kapoor's trademark accent with Ritesh supplying the right answers in Aamir's enunciation. Interspersed throughout the Awards ceremony, was Riteish and Boman performing Anil Kapoor’s notorious Oscar dance, which received a loud round of applause from the audience.
